THIS HAS NOW BEEN SOLD!

FOR SALE: Elektor Formant - analog modular synthesizer

I've been collecting Elektor Formant modules & parts for some time with grand plans of restoring to one big fresh Formant. However, strangley, i've recently spent more time making music than synths (wierd, i know!) and I forsee this one sitting on the shelf for years. So here is everything Formant related I own, for sale.

I basically purchased a few smaller systems and odd parts here and there. Only a few of these modules have ever been powered up by me and so I can't at all vouch for their functionality. Expect a lot of work in restoring these to working condition! Electronically, they are actually mostly well made, but a few of them have loose or broken panel bracket fixings. They are all complete PCBs as far as I can tell. A couple of the front panels are missing jacks sockets and the odd LED etc. There is no wiring in the cabinet and no PSU. You will have to interconnect these modules and build/aquire a PSU.

Note that some of the module have home-made laminated front panels - this is why I tracked down quite a few original front panels to replace these. These are included for sale.

I knocked together the case myself as a temporary housing whilst planning to work on the system. It's a bit crappy and I suspect it won't be wanted, but it's offered up if need be. However, it'll be easier to ship without the case.

Ideally i'm looking to sell it as one lot.
I'll think about breaking it down later if there is no interest in it as a whole.

Shipping & Payment
Obviously collection from London is the preferred option but i will post anywhere in the world at your expense. Shipping will be at cost and will depend on wether you want the case included - it'll be way cheaper to ship without.
Please check prices to your location at www.Parcelforce.com or www.parcel2go.com.

I can accept payment via PayPal, NoChex, bank transfer, pounds cash or cheque in UK pounds.

I am open to trades/part-trades - anything MOTM/Oakley or other analog stuff. Or a Leslie cab (in the UK!).
